Wasps

When Do Wasps Become Pests?

Wasps turn from beneficial insects in the spring, when they are useful pollinators, to nuisance insects in late summer, around July.

By this time they will have finished building their nests, and will become attracted to drinks, food and sweet substances.

Their behaviour will also start to be much more aggressive as they scavenge for food and drink from humans. This is the time to start catching them and prevent them from ruining garden and outdoor leisure activities during the summer.

How To Control Wasps

Our Wasp & Fly Traps are highly effective for the mass catching of large numbers of Wasps, Hornets and Flies.

The trap is supplied with a natural attractant that lures the Wasps inside, where they become trapped and drown within the attractant.

Our trap and attractant is specified for Wasps and Flies and does not attract Bees, Birds, or other wildlife. It is entirely safe for use around children and pets, and contains no chemicals.
