Wasp Trap With Attractant

When Do Wasps Become Pests?

Wasps turn from beneficial insects in the spring, where they are useful pollinators, to nuisance insects in late summer, around July. By this time they will have finished building their nests, and will become attracted to drinks, food and sweet substances. Their behaviour will also start to be much more aggressive as they scavenge for food and drink from humans. This is therefore the time to start catching the Wasps, and prevent them from ruining garden and outdoor leisure activities during the summer.

How Does This Trap Help Combat Aggressive Wasps?

Our traps are highly effective for mass catching of large numbers of Wasps, Hornets and Flies. The trap is supplied with a natural attractant that lures the Wasps inside, where they become trapped and drown from exhaustion within the attractant. Our trap and attractant is specified for Wasps and as such does not attract, or catch, Bees, Birds, or harm wildlife. It is entirely safe for use around children and pets, and contains no chemicals.

How Do I Set Up The Traps?

Our traps are easy to assemble. Simply fill up the trap with attractant, twist on the transparent lid, thread the vine through the top, and hang the trap in your ideal location.

Full instructions are provided on delivery.

Our Wasp Traps Are Durable & Reusable

The attractant will need replacing once it is dried out, and the trap is full of Wasps. The best way to clean out your trap, and replace its attractant, is to open and submerge the trap in a large bucket of water. This will drown any Wasps that haven't yet died and wash out the Wasp remains without risk of you being stung.

Where Should I Place The Traps?

Hang the Wasp trap a slight distance from outdoor eating, and sitting, areas to draw the Wasps to different areas of the garden. The trap can be hung from any location that is desirable.

When Should I Use The Wasp Traps?

You should set up your traps from July onward for the rest of the summer and early autumn. This will ensure maximum trapping rates for the irritating Wasps.

How Many Traps Do I Need?

We recommend having 1-3 traps set up in your garden from July. For larger, or smaller, gardens this will vary.

There are two variant options of our trap available to purchase:

- The Standard Wasp trap including 125ml of attractant.

or

- The Standard Wasp trap including 1 litre of attractant.

When Will I Need To Replace My Wasp Traps?

The trap can be used for years and replacement liquid attractant can be purchased here for additional coverage.

I bought this because we found a wasps nest just outside our front door. It was like watching the little creatures having a party. It's caught a lot of wasps, but not the whole, nest, as they now have gone into hibernation. We did it this way because a pest controller would charge too much money. We've since bought other products to finally kill the nest.

This gadget is a great way to capture those pesky flying wasps, we didn’t think that it would work on the first day we hung it out as it was raining, but when we walked past it later in the afternoon it had over 10 of the little beasts! Highly recommend it

Absolutely amazing, I got 2 traps and put half a bottle of liquid in each. The results are staggering, in 1 trap there are easily 20 wasps and it’s only been in use 3 days !!!!
