Our traps are highly effective for mass catching of large numbers of Wasps, Hornets and Flies.The trap is supplied with a natural attractant that lures the insects inside, where they become trapped and drown within the attractant. Our trap and attractant is specified for Wasps, and Flies, and does not attract Bees, Birds, or other wildlife. It is entirely safe for use around children and pets, and contains no chemicals.
Our traps are easy to assemble. Simply fill up the trap with attractant, twist on the transparent lid, thread the vine through the top, and hang the trap in your ideal location.

The attractant will need replacing once it is dried out, and the trap is full of Wasps and Flies. The best way to clean out your trap, and replace its attractant, is to open and submerge the trap in a large bucket of water. This will drown any insects that haven't yet died and wash out your catches.
Hang the trap a slight distance from outdoor eating, and sitting, areas to draw the Wasps and Flies to different areas of the garden. The trap can be hung from any location that is desirable.
You should set up your traps from July onward for the rest of the summer and early autumn. This will ensure maximum trapping rates.
We recommend having 1-3 traps set up in your garden from July. For larger, or smaller, gardens this will vary.
You can order our trap to be supplied with either 500ml or 1L of attractant.
The trap can be used for years and replacement liquid attractant can be purchased here for additional coverage.
So easy to put together. The attractant worked well - our sitting area on our patio has been very quiet wasp-wise as a result. Would recommend.

It has caught some wasps. I hung it next to the nest. The numbers of wasps are still high though but I have caught about 20.
We used three of these for an area outside of the canteen where people can eat their meals. Absolutely brilliant! Everyone was saying how much nicer it was and we caught around 150 wasps in a week.
I was also impressed at how specific the attractant seemed to be. All we caught was wasps and about three enormous hornets. No bees or butterflies at all.
