Plum Fruit Moth Pheromone Lure (Long-Life Lure)

Number of Lures

Use Our Highly Effective Long-Life Lures In Our Plum Fruit Moth Pheromone Traps

This highly attractive pheromone lure has been designed specifically to attract adult male Plum Fruit Moths into traps.

This helps reduce the male numbers of the moth and effectively stops their reproduction; breaking the life cycle and giving complete control over the pest.

Each lure contains a potent pheromone which remains attractive for an entire season. The pheromone is only attractive to Plum Fruit Moths, ensuring it is safe for other beneficial insects.

How Do I Set Up The Lure Inside The Trap?

Simply remove the lure from the foil sachet and place it inside the cage area in the top of the trap, which has a small black cover.

When Should I Use The Lure Inside The Traps?

Place the lures within your traps by mid-May. The Plum Fruit Moths will normally fly from late May.

What Distance Does A Plum Fruit Moth Lure Cover?

One lure and trap will cover 16 -20 trees.

When Will I Need To Replace The Lures?

One lure is required for the summer season of May to August. A replacement lure should be added in August in order to monitor the presence of a potential second generation of Plum Fruit Moths from August to September.

Can I Store The Lures?

If lures are to be stored and not used upon receipt, you may store them in a fridge or freezer.

More information on how to treat Plum Fruit Moths can be found on the Plum Fruit Moth Killer Nematodes & Plum Fruit Moth Pheromone Trap product listings.

Works well

Two years ago I lost the entire crop of plumbs on two trees last spring I purchased two plumb moth traps and only had two plumbs with grubs in.
Needless to say I got two refils this year.

Does what it promises...

Our best year ever for plums. I chopped the spray regime from three times to two and the plums were better and with no maggot attack at all. Caught lots of moths. I don't need to say any more....

Highly effective

Put this out a month earlier than required in a trap. Catching 20-30 moths most nights. Yet to see what this years plums are like. But seems to work well.
