The Benefits Of Our Eco Sticky Insect Traps

Our Eco Sticky Insect Traps are ideal for catching and monitoring levels of flying insect pests.

Black grids are printed on the yellow sticky trap so the number of insects caught can easily be counted and compared with previous catches. These traps provide a highly useful method of identifying whether the pest population is increasing or declining.

Packs can be supplied as a pack of 5 or 10 sticky traps.

Environmentally Friendly Traps

The traps are biodegradable and not made from plastic, but instead made with treated cardboard. This degrades much quicker after use than alternative, more traditional sticky traps, which are made from plastic and remain a waste product in nature for years.

Long Lasting Traps

Our Eco Sticky Traps provide great value for money. They are supplied in packs of 5 or 10, and each trap contains four release papers. This means that each individual trap can be used four times! This can be achieved by peeling back one section of paper to reveal the glue trapping area beneath. Once this is full of insects another section of the trap can be used as you pull off another release paper.

What Do The Traps Catch?

Eco Sticky Traps can catch a range of insect pests including:

What Size Are The Traps?

Each trap is 10cm x 25cm.

How Do I Set Up The Traps?

1. First remove the release paper all at once to reveal the sticky surface of the trap, or alternatively, section by section to compare insect catches and extend the life of the trap.

2. Detach a tie, hook through the hole at the top of the trap, and hang up the trap.

3. Remove the trap once all areas are covered in insects or dust, and replace with a new trap.

Where Should I Place The Traps?

They can be used in a range of environments but are particularly effective when used in greenhouses. Hang your trap above the growing points of plants for the ideal catching spot. Do not use outside.

Fight against fungus gnats

Having put these sticky traps up helps to get rid of the adult fungus gnats and check to see how much Nematodes are required to break the cycle of these fungus gnats buzzing around your home.

Very efficient

Easy to set up and use. I hang mine in the greenhouse on 'S' hooks.
This is the second batch I have ordered from Dragonfly direct and through the Ebay site.
They catch loads of bugs. I like the idea of peeling the paper off gradually so they keep their stickiness and last longer.
Excellent stickiness. I have purchased similar ones but they have been nowhere as effective as these.
I would highly recomment these sticky traps and they are very reasonable priced.
