Raspberry Beetle Attractant Lure

Number of Lures

Use Our Highly Effective Attractant Lures In Our Raspberry Beetle Traps

This highly attractive pheromone lure has been designed specifically to attract adult male Raspberry Beetles into traps.

This reduces the male numbers of the Beetle in circulation, effectively halting their reproduction and breaking the Raspberry Beetle life cycle; providing you with complete control over the pest.

How Do I Set Up The Lure Inside The Traps?

Each trap is supplied with one pheromone lure in a foil wrapper. Simply remove the lure from the foil wrapper and snip the top off the green sachet to remove the attractant lure. Place the lure in the lure cage at the top of the trap, which has a small clear cover.

When Should I Use The Lures In The Traps?

Set up your Raspberry Beetle traps 4-6 weeks before first flowerings of your berry shrubs, which is from April to July.

What Distance Will The Trap & Lure Cover?

The trap and lure will cover 250m2

When Will I Need To Replace The Lures?

These long-life lures are designed to last an entire Raspberry Beetle flying season (roughly 6 weeks).

Can I Store The Lures?

If lures are to be stored and not used upon receipt, you may store them in a fridge or freezer.

More information on how to treat Raspberry Beetles can be found on the product listings for our Raspberry Beetle Traps.

Really works!

Our raspberries used to be attacked by these beetles and almost every one was damaged. Since using this our raspberries are perfect.

Seems to work

I've used this and other raspberry beetle lures before and they probably keep down the numbers of the insects. Dragonfli need to make the instructions for use clearer: I have to assume that you take the lure out of its inner wrapping, before inserting into the trap.

Hi Moira,

Many thanks for your feedback and for ordering with us.

Glad to hear you were able to benefit from the use of our Raspberry Beetle lure and identify a notable reduction in the number of the present beetles.

I apologise that it was not made clearer to you on receipt that the lure does indeed need to be removed from silver foil wrapping before being placed into the trap. We do state this on the lure product webpage and on the instruction leaflet for the trap itself (which is also downloadable from the trap product webpage) for further reference.

In the meantime we hope you are able to catch plenty more of the beetles from now until early June and of course if you ever need any further advice please just give us a shout and we'd be more than happy to help.

Kind regards,

Julian Ives [Director, Dragonfli]
