Plum Fruit Moth attractant lures attract  the adult Plum Fruit Moths into the trap.1 lure is required each season.

The replacement attractant lure is for already purchased traps.

Keep the lure stored in a fridge or freezer if not going to be installed into the trap after delivery.

To replace the lure in the trap, remove the pheromone lure from its sleeve and put inside the small area in the top of the trap, which has a  small black cover. Fill the trap with water and a little bit of a mild detergent like washing up liquid. This helps break the surface tension in the trap to aid quick drowning of the plum fruit moth. Hang the trap in or near plum fruit trees. Place the trap out in early May, when moths start flying.

The Dragonfli Plum Fruit Moth Trap provides a chemical free method of reducing Plum Fruit Moth numbers and can be re-used for many years if using new plum fruit pheromone lures each season.

Last chance to treat Leatherjacket larvae

This short, fat leatherjacket  larvae does a lot of damage to lawns from August through to the end of October. The recent warm weather does enable later applications but should not be delayed to long now.

Once you have evidence of this grub under your grass, it is time to apply nematodes.

Available in many sizes -  100m2, 500m2 , these nematodes will seek out and destroy Leatherjacket larvae within 14 days of use. Can be applied by watering can or hose end nozzle.

This is a natural solution for leatherjackets in lawns. Leatherjackets are the larvae of crane flies, otherwise known as Daddy-long-Legs. The majority of the eggs are laid late summer and develop into Leatherjacket larvae in the late summer- early autumn.

Stop these horrible pests ruining your lawn by using a biological control.
